The place I am going to tell you about is Dali,which is located in Yunnan province,southwest of China,pretty close to Myanmar and Laos.It is one of my country’s most popular tourist attractions,partly because several TV series and films have been shot there.

我要告诉你的地方是大理，位于中国西南的云南省，离缅甸和老挝很近。它是我国最受欢迎的旅游目的之一。这部分是由于好几部电视剧和电影都是在那里拍摄的。

I went there during the winter vacation three years ago.I deliberately ignored the summer vacation and other holidays to avoid the torching heat and crowd.Luckily,the winter there was not harsh because of its low latitude.The temperature fluctuated around 15 degrees and the sun shined every day.It was the perfect weather condition I could ever dream about.

我是在三年前的寒假里去的那里。我有意忽略掉夏天和其他节假日，以躲避酷热和拥挤的人群。幸运的是，因为其较低的海拔，那里的冬天一点都不冷。温度在15度左右浮动，太阳每天都出来。它是我能想到的最完美的天气状况。

The city was famous for its wonderful scenery and numerous entertainment venues.A natural lake bordered it to the west,covering such a vast area that indigenous people referred to it as ErHai,which meant Er sea.And right at the city’s center,you could see the snow mountain looming on the horizon.Moreover,there were countless pubs and nightclubs for people to indulge themselves in.When the night fell,it was like the whole city was drowned in alcohol,music,and revelry.Just like other tourists,I drove a car around Erhai to appreciate her beauty,sat in a caféon the shore to kill time,and got drunk to leave all the troubles behind in one of the pubs.

这座城市因其美丽的风景和无数的娱乐场所而出名。一座天然湖泊就在城市西边。其面积是如此之大，以至于当地人用洱海来指代它。而且在城市正中央，你就可以看到地平线上起伏的雪山。除此之外，那里还有无数的酒吧和夜店供人们放纵自己。当夜晚降临，整个城市仿佛都沉溺于酒精、音乐和狂欢之中。像其他游客一样，我开车环绕洱海欣赏她的美，坐在岸边的咖啡厅里打发时间，以及在一家酒吧里买醉忘记所有烦恼。

I would like to recommend this city to others because it possesses magic.Everyone there connives at themselves.They seem to have given up all secular aspirations to return to a very primitive state,leading a happy life.As long as you get off the plane,you will become one of them and feel at ease from top to bottom.

我想要把这个地方推荐给其他人，因为它拥有一种魔力。那里的每个人都很纵容自己。他们似乎已经放弃了所有的世俗渴望，并回归到十分纯朴的状态，即过幸福的生活。一旦你下了飞机，你就会变成他们的一员，感到从头到脚的舒畅。
