I’d like to talk about a time I listen to a boring lecture,if my memory serves me right,it happened last month.My best friend jenny invited me to listen to a lecture about novels at her college,I had nothing to do at that time,so I just tagged along.

When we got to the auditorium,the teacher there required us to seal our phones in a big bag,Jenny told me smartphones are banned in classes,especially in such a strict situation.You know,I wouldn't have gone there if I'd known that.Even worse,the theme of the lecture was science fiction novels.Honestly,I'm not a science fiction fan.

So I wasn't interested in the talk.But Jenny loves sci-fi novels.She was so excited about the lecture.I thought it would embarrass her if I left right away.So I didn't say anything,I just kept listening to the boring lecture.

During the whole lecture,I didn't pay attention to the teacher's words.I was so bored to death without my phone.I almost fell asleep,If I could've used my cellphone,I might have read some interesting online novels secretly.Since then,whenever I go to a lecture,I make sure I'm really interested in the topic.

结尾一：Otherwise,it will be a waste of time.

结尾二：Plus,I've never gone to Jenny's college for a lecture again because I really don't like their no-cellphone rule.
