The home I am going to tell you about is my classmate’s.To be more specific,it is not the place where he lives with his parents,but a flat he rents as a temporary home when he is studying at the university.It is located right next to our campus.With 10 minutes’walk,he can reach the teaching building.It is equipped with a 24-hour power supply,hot water,and internet access,which is much more convenient and comfortable than the dormitory.

我要告诉你的家是我同学的。更确切的说，这不是他跟他父母一起住的地方，而是一所他在上学期间用来作为临时住所的公寓。它就在学校旁边。步行不到10分钟就可以到达教学楼。它配备有24小时的电力供应，热水和网络，比宿舍要舒服和方便许多。

It is a one-bedroom apartment,with a kitchen,a dining room,a living room,and a bathroom,not very spacious but quite enough for one or two individuals to live in.Since he is only planning to live there for two years,he does not change its original decoration.The owner seems to be a minimalist.Everything is in white and grey,and there is no ornament like paintings or pictures on the wall.

它是个一居室的公寓，有一间厨房，一间餐厅，一间客厅和一间浴室。虽然不是很宽敞，但足够一个或者两个人居住。由于他只打算在这里住两年，所以没有改动原本的装修风格。房东似乎是个极简主义者。所有东西都是白色和灰色。墙上没有诸如绘画和图片一类的装饰品。

I go there almost every Friday evening to have some entertainment.Sometimes,we would order food deliveries,enjoy some beers,and talk about what happened last week.Sometimes,we would watch a film on his laptop.But in most cases,I would bring my computer and play online games with him.

我几乎每个周五晚上都会去那里玩。有时候，我们会叫外卖，喝些啤酒，讨论上一周发生的事情。有时候，我们会在他的笔记本上看电影。但大多数情况下，我会带上我的电脑，跟他一起玩网络游戏。

Although we had a lot of fun in his home,I do not want to live there at all.It is too high.The flat is on the 32nd floor.I can literally feel the swing of the building when there is a gust,which is really scary.Apart from this,I just cannot help wondering how exhausting it will be if there is a blackout or the elevator breaks down.

虽然我们在他家里度过了许多快乐时光，但我一点都不想住在那里。它太高了。公寓位于32层。当一阵强风吹来的时候，我可以真切的感受到建筑的摇晃，超级吓人。除此之外，我禁不住的想，如果停电或者电梯坏了的话，跑上来有多么累人。
